Wildomar Elementary Selected for Prestigious Disney Musicals in Schools Program

Wildomar Elementary School has been selected for the highly competitive Disney Musicals in Schools: Stage Connect program, marking a major milestone for the campus and the broader school community.

After months of applications, planning, and video submissions, Wildomar Elementary was chosen from elementary schools across the nation to partner with Disney Theatrical Group through its Disney on Broadway initiative. The selection brings a unique opportunity to introduce a full-scale musical theater program to campus for the very first time.

As part of the three-year Stage Connect program, Disney will provide professional development, performance licensing, and ongoing guidance to support the development of a sustainable and high-quality musical theater program at Wildomar Elementary. The partnership will allow staff and students to work alongside industry professionals while building a foundation for the performing arts that will continue long into the future.

This opportunity represents a significant step forward for Wildomar Elementary students, opening doors to new creative experiences and helping expand access to the arts. Performing arts play a critical role in education, helping students build confidence, creativity, collaboration skills, and leadership—all while providing meaningful opportunities to express themselves.

Auditions for the school’s first Disney musical production are expected to begin in Fall 2026, giving students the chance to take the stage and be part of a historic first for the campus.
