High School Diploma Program

High School Diploma Program

Valley Adult School’s High School Diploma program is an alternative program  where  students may receive their high school diploma through publisher and teacher created workbooks and assignments.  All assigned coursework  is aligned with the California State Standards and the LEUSD board approved high school curriculum.

Our qualified and friendly staff will review your transcrips with you and come up with a graduation plan that will suit your individual needs.  Students are assigned one course at a time and are expected to work a minimum of 12 hours a week on their coursework  at  home or in the classroom.

Students must attend class each week for at least 1 hour to meet with an instructor and have their assignment reviewed. Typically 5 credits can be earned in a two week period and 10 credits in a four week period.
